Free Download Digital SLR Video and Filmmaking For Dummies
I bought this book because I knew nothing about SLR Video but I wanted to start capturing video with my still camera and have it look professional quality. Despite the technical subject matter, it was a fun and interesting read and I even caught myself laughing outloud a few times. I especially loved the book's use of photos to explain various techniques. I would recommend this book to any "dummy" like me who wants to learn more.

I am a total beginner, I didn't even know what 'DSLR' meant when I ordered this book, but I was drawn to the 'filmmaking' part of the title. It has always been a dream of mine to make my own movie and this book tells you how, including choosing and accessorizing the right gear, how to hold the camera steady, how to work with actors, what to do when i finish my movie, and more. I am really enjoying the author's sense of humor, it is written with a streak of rock and roll in it. And it's true, I am finding myself laughing out loud from time to time.
