I received this book for Christmas. I'd looked at it a few times in stores, thought it had the potential to be kind of interesting, but never felt a great need to pick it up. (Mainly because, personally, I never cared for Voyager or Enterprise, and this book is rather inclusive in that it contains questions related to all of the Treks. Objectively, a plus, but for me that ment there were questions I would never know.) But hey, I got it for Christmas! Free stuff is good!
Just now, I finally started playing with it. I started with Question 1 and thought I'd work my way through. I was doing pretty good... and then I got to Question 46. Oh, that's an easy one! I select the correct answer... and then hear, for the first time, the buzz telling me I am wrong.
What? I can't be. Did I hit the wrong button? I select question 46 again, and again press the button for the correct answer. Again, buzz! I toss aside the book in frustration.
What is this now? I am POSITIVE that my answer is correct... I can't be wrong! Can I?
To the internet I go, and a quick search later I discover a forum somewhere where people are, indeed, complaining about this very issue. There is a long list of questions that they say have incorrect answers provided, and the very first one on their list is, indeed, #46. In all, they estimate approximately 3% of the questions in this book have incorrect answers provided. 3% may not seem like a lot, but out of 2,500 questions that would make for 75 wrong ones. On top of that, there was also provided a list of questions with misleading wording or where more then one of the answers provided could technically be correct. Not quite as heinous as flat out wrong answers, but still potentially quite annoying.
