This book by Billy Pegram is one of the best photography books I have ever seen, HANDS DOWN, it is loaded with pictures, make-up tips, post processing information, interviews from professionals and so much more. This is not just a photography book, this is a complete guide to figure photography and much more. The clean layout and straight talk make this book very enjoyable to read no matter what your photography level is.

I am a big fan of Billy's book on Posing and have recommended it to others many times. When I saw that he had tackled figure photography I was excited. I have been doing figure photography for about 20 years and am always looking for new ideas. The book did not live up to my expectations. Some of the information is excellent and the pictures offer some good ideas. However, the lengthy section on how to put on makeup, or example, doesn't seem to fit the audience for this book. There are also numerous typos and other proofreading errors that one would expect to have been resolved before this was published. If you are looking for a book on Posing however his book on posing is one of the best I have seen.
