Many of the interviews are distorted by the respondents I personally was a student on affiliation between June 1957 and December of 1957. I then returned to work as a Registered Nurse after graduation from Illinois Masonic Hospital and was employed by County Hospital in the Recovery Room the only unit where extremely ill patients were admitted .At that time ICU was not yet available. The experience was extremely gratifying. I remember it vividly .I am still employed as a registered nurse working in the home health field. Cook County will always hold a special place in my heart.
