This is conceptually dense yet easy to read book that provides fantastic insight and really demystifies acupuncture! Dr. Lee has a unique background as both an M.D. and a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and expert. He really breaks down the normally complicated subject matter of acupuncture into very understandable theories and practical applications, while also demonstrating how "Western" and "Eastern" medicine are really one in the same. The book is also surprisingly entertaining with anecdotes and case studies that are thought provoking and engaging. It is a much more pleasant read than one would expect for such a topic.
The book is written in a way that it would benefit both those with no knowledge of acupuncture at all to clinicians with already many years of acupuncture experience. This is a must-have book, and should have been the first book on acupuncture I read!

Dr.Lee's Integrating Modern Medicine And TraditionalChinese Medicine is extremely informative,concise and insightful. Though it is written for Physicians interested in learning Acupuncture,all other health related members,such as nurses,social workers,psychologists,clergymen,physical therapists, counsellors,etc can also be benefited by reading this excellent book. I wish the book was published much earlier!
