I bought this for my iPad, and love it. It is very readable, helpful, and of course contains beautiful photos. What really sold me on it was when I emailed the author with a camera question. He was so helpful and kind! And this book has answered many of my questions, just as he suggested it would. I am hoping to take one of his upcoming workshops, but until then, the book is a keeping me on track with learning.

I have looked at many photography books in my quest to learn to be a better photographer. Carl's is outstanding. It explains things with simple concise wording with great examples. It is way less intimidating than other books that try to say some of the same things but make it more confusing. I love the size of this book. It makes it easy to take it along to use as a reference.
